After a long day in Salzburg, Inna and I unwound at Alpentherme Gastein in Bad Hofgastein.
The thermal pools, saunas, and mountain views made it a wonderful retreat. We also tried the children’s slides and were impressed. Alex had stayed behind to rest, so he missed the fun.
There was a 25-meter swimming pool (with cold water) for training, and I decided to swim a few laps while Inna explored more of the Alpentherme property. The swim was nice and refreshing. After the swim, we decided to try out the many saunas. Some turned out to be very hot! We stayed until the closing at 22:00. I almost lost my car keys until the attendant explained that I had accidentally left them on the counter. Disaster avoided!
